Week 1 

Theme: Stop. Think. Connect Simple Steps for Online Safety
Learn some of the basic strategies you should employ to help protect your information online. 

Event: Mobile Security Check Station
Stop by our table in the Art Tunnel for a quick overview of the settings and practices for keeping your mobile device secure. Enter to win iPad and enjoy some treats courtesy of ICT.

Week 2 

Theme: Cybersecurity in the Workplace is Everyone's Responsibility 
Learn some of the common ways organizations fall victim to cyber attacks and data theft along with some key strategies to help prevent it from occurring.

Activites: Phishing information and activities
Throughout the week ICT will be sharing information and hosting activities to help increase the awareness of phishing and cybercrime. 

Week 3

Theme: Emerging trends in CyberSecurity
Learn more about how the advancement of technology and connectivity of devices has created new opportunities for information theft and cybercrime. 

Event: Cybersecurity and Post-Secondary Institutions
Join IT security experts for a panel discussion that will take a non-technical approach to sharing the top IT security risks post-secondary institutions face and detail roles in helping to protect against cyber threats. Everyone is welcome to attend, refreshments will be provided.

Week 4 

Theme: Our Continuously Connected Lives
Interactions with technology are taking place in some unexpected locations. Learn more about how devices collect and share your information. 

Event:
Mobile Escape Room
Register a team of 4 - 6 people to participate in the Mobile Escape room. Challenge your team to complete the cyber-security themed obstacle course located in the bowl. Everyone is welcome to participate in the fun, team-building activity.

The event should take between 15 - 20 minutes to complete. Please arrive at the site a minimum of 5 minutes in advance of your scheduled time.
